I trained in Drama and Movement Therapy at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (profile) and as a clinical supervisor at the Institute of Group Analysis.
In addition to my private practice, I work in schools with children and their families, and teach on the MA Movement Studies course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I am a peer reviewer for Dramatherapy, the professional journal of the British Association of Dramatherapists. Publications and presentations include "Mythic Place" in Dramatherapy: Reflections and Praxis (Macmillan, 2017), "The Significance of Attachment to Place" at the ECArTE Conference Palermo 2015 and "Unlink/Relink: Therapeutic Exploration of the Great Chain of Being" at the ECArTE conference Krakow 2017, "Encounter: Meeting, Mapping, Making Place" at the PPLG Conference 2019 in Thessaloniki, Greece, "Proud Work: Arachne, Athena & Me" at the BADTH Conference 2020 & "Playing the Role of the Supervisor" in Dramatherapy (upcoming, early 2023.) I have worked in public and private hospitals in the UK and Germany, and am able to hold sessions in German. I am HCPC Registered and a member of British Association of Dramatherapists. |
